Celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with us!

On Saturday evenings in December!

Winter evenings are an amazing time to visit the critters at the the Conservators Center. As the weather grows cooler, our lions, tigers, and wolves don their beautiful, thick coats and are energized by the brisk temperatures. They become even more active as the sun sets, and call out to one another as the winter moon rises in the sky.

Join us in celebrating the season with our animal residents by coming on a Winter in the Wild tour at the Conservators Center! You and other animal lovers will take an evening stroll through our paths with an experienced tour guide.

Winter in the Wild tours are an opportunity to see our animals at a time of day and a time of year when they are at their most animated. Our critters often show off their silly and playful personalities, and you'll even meet our residents by a glow of white lights that turns our conservancy into a furry wonderland of awe-inspiring sights and sounds!

We've decorated the park with twinkling white lights to set the festive mood and have complementary hot chocolate to warm you up after the tour.

Tours start December 3rd, and run select evenings through January 2nd. Because they are very popular, we suggest you purchase your tickets now.

The Family Winter in the Wild Tour is designed for all ages. This is an ideal option for families or guests with younger children because your guide will engage them in conversation geared for inquisitive young minds. Tour length 1 - 1/2 hours.

You and other animal lovers will take an evening stroll through our paths with an experienced tour guide for 2–2.5 hours, depending on the interests of the group. Please note: The Adult Winter in the Wild Tour is designed for adults and older children (ages 12+).

Our Weather Policy

Due to the timing of evening tours, it can be difficult for our staff to make adjustments when the weather forecast shifts as the day goes on. To more accurately gauge the weather, our policy is to cancel tours by 11am on the morning of your tour if conditions look unfavorable. We appreciate your understanding that you will need to keep an eye on the forecast and may need to dress for unpredictable weather when you reserve space.

In the event of unsafe weather, we will contact you via the email you have provided. You can also check our website home page for information on any weather-related cancellations. In the event of cancellation, you can receive a refund for the entire amount of your ticket or transfer your reservation to an alternate day.

Bringing Minors?

If you are bringing participants under the age of 18, we require that a waiver be filled out by a legal guardian prior to the tour. If you are not the legal guardian of a minor you are bringing with you, the legal guardian MUST fill out a waiver for the child prior to the time of the tour. Click HERE  for a digital copy to print and fill out.
Each adult will also have to fill out a waiver for themselves, though it is not imperative that adults fill out their own waivers prior to arriving at the conservancy.
