Let our lions, tigers, wolves, and other residents make science unforgettable this school year!
Wild field trips at the Conservators Center are designed to meet NC Standard Course of Study science goals and objectives. Each field trip is tailored to the topics you are covering in your classroom.
This is an experience for families, scouts, 4-H, FFA, camps, day care centers, seniors, and other community groups who are interested in learning about our animals. We offer special rates for groups of at least 15 on an Adventure tour, but if your group consists of at least 25 people, you are guaranteed a private tour that can be tailored to your specific interests.
The Conservators Center has been fortunate to have developed relationships with several area Scout troops, and is looking to connect with even more. Whether you are a troop leader, a parent of a Scout, or a Scout yourself, there are many ways to get involved at the Conservators Center.
Enjoy the sounds of the lions, leopards, wolves and more while you camp just over 50 feet away, safely outside the perimeter fence of the park. Enjoy s’mores around the fire, make enrichment for the animals, and enjoy a tour the next morning.
