August’s spotlight is on this somewhat silent and stoic serval! We’d like to help you learn more about him so that you can decide how you’d like to support him.
William and his three brothers (Mojo, Obi, and Sammy) look very similar at first glance. But William’s nearly-all-black nose is the key for telling him apart!
William was born at the Center along with his three brothers when his parents came to us in 2008. Though we weren’t expecting serval cubs, these four wildcats have brought so much joy to our park! Servals are generally solitary cats and don’t usually live in same-sex groupings, but the “Serval Boys” are so attached to each other that they’ve gotten along swimmingly for 11 years. Upon a first meeting, William can seem a little standoffish, but don’t let that fool you! He often enjoys all kinds of enrichment like scents, snacks, and colorful paint!
As William’s Lifetime Adopter, you’ll contribute to our mission on a recurring basis and, in return, develop a relationship with William. What does that entail? Spending time in his company and learning all about his care. Read more about Lifetime Adoption here!
And if you’re not able to make the commitment, never fear…you can help William in a few other ways:
