Whiskers and Tails
Whiskers & Tails is a great way for young children (up to 7 years old) to learn about a variety of species, and some of their special features. Most of our friendly and curious lions, tigers, leopards, and wolves enjoy greeting and observing our visitors. You will be equally enchanted by our smaller species, which include binturongs, New Guinea singing dogs, ring-tailed lemurs, servals, bobcats, and jungle cats.
You’ll travel through the park with an experienced tour guide for about 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the interests of the group.
Designed for the shorter attention span of young children, your engaging guide will focus on what’s most exciting and interesting about our residents. Like all of our tours, you will meet our animals up close and personal!
- Children under 3 are free,
but must have a ticket.
- Senior Citizens,
Military, Students, &
are eligible for discounted admission with Valid ID

While You Are Here: Feed a Tiger or Lion!
Make your visit complete and be the envy of all your friends -- feed a lion or feed a tiger! With this add-on to your tour, you'll travel back into the park after your tour for a 30 minute 'lunch date' with one of our animals. Our tour guides will assist you and your party, kids (over age 3) included, as you safely feed treats to one of our residents from the gravel path. You'll even have the opportunity to take pictures of this amazing event. The animals enjoy this social interaction, and of course are delighted with getting special treats and attention.
We're so excited to open this opportunity to our guests that we're offering it for just $16 until March 1st with purchase of a tour. Book this now, at this great introductory rate! This is a public add-on. There will be up to 5 people on the tour. Want a private 'date' with a tiger or lion? Click here to reserve your spot.
