Adventures

Adventures are a wonderful introduction to the Conservators Center and are our most popular tour. The series is geared towards general species information as well as sharing the origins of each of our residents and how they came to live at the Center. This tour isn’t a lecture; it’s a conversation! Our knowledgeable guides are very enthusiastic about the Conservators Center and the animals who call it home, and they love to answer your questions.

Adventures are our introductory tour and feature science and story content about each of the animals in residence at the Center. Topics include conservation status, mating habits, method of predation, and evolutionary adaptations. No two tours are alike, however, as our tour guides tailor their discussions to each group! Our kid-friendly Family Adventures focus more on what makes each species unique to its ecosystem and are also a little shorter, spending less time at each enclosure than our Adult Adventures.

All Adventures take place in both sections of the park and cover a distance of approximately 3/4 of a mile. Accommodations are available for visitors with disabilities.
