The Winery at Iron Gate Farm (3)
Though situated in an area not traditionally thought of as wine country, Iron Gate Winery has quickly become a recognized vineyard that produces nationally awarded vintages. The winery offers daily tastings, features a beautiful outdoor patio for enjoying wine, and has a 4-bottle collection featuring animals from the Conservators' Center. A portion of the proceeds from the sales of these wines help support the animals at the Center.
The Shady Glen Bed and Breakfast (4)
Tucked away in the woods is the beautiful Shady Glen Bed and Breakfast, operated by a wonderful and helpful innkeeper. The beautifully appointed guest suite allows for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay and the inn serves as a wonderful point from which to explore the area.
